black

not from not-christ-like palm
peter-ing
the severed ear
of peace
petering out
deafened
by bomb-blast’ baghdad
thunder in kabul
brawls in paris
race rage in dessau
bombs in beirut
rockets in gaza
wailing in isreal
torched worlds
that flicker
melt
dissolve
in candle excitement
and are blown out
